Poetry Reading with Darrell Alejandro Holnes

During Darrell Alejandro Holnes' poetry reading I could feel the emotions. Being a gay male he had struggles that came through in his poetry.

Holnes included musical pieces throughout his poetry reading.

The reading wasn't just a reading, it was a full in-depth understanding of Holnes as a person.

Holnes said, "Sex, love, and death are the three topics written about in poetry."

After his poetry reading Holnes was so kind to answer any questions the audience had.

A few audience members had the chance to photograph Holnes. I was one of the lucky ones to actually take a couple photograph's with Holnes. That was a moment I won't forget.
